The Street Is My Studio: Featured on The Art of Photography

I’m incredibly excited and a bit humbled to share some amazing news with you all. My recently published zine, “The Street Is My Studio,” has been featured on The Art of Photography by Ted Forbes! For someone who’s been following Ted’s work and learning from him for years, this feels like a dream come true. Ted’s insights and passion for photography have inspired me so much, and to have my work recognized by him is an honor I deeply cherish.

“The Street Is My Studio” features photos from my various photoshoot collaborations in Melbourne. This zine is a snapshot of my upcoming photobook, “The Melbourne Portraits Project: A Photographic Ode,” which I’m planning to release this Fall. This project is a labor of love, capturing the wonderful people of Melbourne and their unique stories through my lens. Melbourne’s vibrant community and diverse culture have provided a rich tapestry of subjects, each portrait telling its own unique story.

Creating this photobook has been an incredible journey. From scouting locations and meeting fascinating individuals to capturing those fleeting moments that reveal so much about a person’s character, every step has been rewarding. I’ve poured my heart and soul into this project, striving to authentically portray the essence and beauty of the people I’ve had the privilege of photographing.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has offered kind words and purchased the zine. Your support and encouragement truly mean the world to me. It’s your enthusiasm that keeps me going and pushes me to keep creating and sharing my work. I’ve been overwhelmed by the positive response, and it’s incredibly motivating to know that my work resonates with so many of you.
