This inconspicuous first rate international music competition, open to every young candidate, is of the highest standard with two age categories: Category A (from 6 years old) and Category B (from 19 to 26 years old). Its success is the result of an outstanding organization, which for a quarter of a century has offered free admission to all competition selections and final concerts, through the enthusiasm and generosity of the members of Association FLAME.
The XXIV FLAME Competition will take place at the Conservatoire à rayonnement régional de Paris (CRR), 14, rue de Madrid, 75008 Paris, from 29 April to 8 May 2013.
The Association FLAME was created in 1989 by Patrice Sciortino, composer, and Germaine Tocatlian, piano teacher at the Schola Cantorum in Paris. The objectives of FLAME are to identify, promote and support young talents at the beginning of their career.
