Remember the last time you tried a veggie burger at a company picnic? You were probably curious, so you went for it, didn’t quite like it, and regretted not grabbing the last juicy burger your officemate is thoroughly enjoying.

Did you know that:

  • Eating one hamburger wastes more water on the planet than 2 months of showering.
  • It takes 18 times as much land to feed a meat-eater than it does to feed a vegan.
  • Meat does more damage to the atmosphere than all transportation combined.
  • If we took all the feed we give to cattle on the planet and turned it into food for human beings, we could feed every human being on the planet.

Impossible Foods to the rescue!

Impossible Foods is re-inventing the hamburger. If you haven’t had a chance to try it, give it a chance. It’s actually really good. More and more restaurants are offering it as an option. I often order the Impossible Burger, that bleeds like meet, when available on the menu and haven’t been disappointed.

The Impossible Burger is even available as select Burger King‘s! The meat-free Impossible Whopper was launched in early April 2019 at 59 restaurants in Missouri. That test was so successful by the end of the year, Burger King wants to bring that burger to all 7,200 of its U.S. restaurants.
